Chas funeral today

Agreat turn out of about300-350. i would have loved chas to see the look on the faces of the pall bearers when the coffin was taken into the church. once on a westham trip we both laughed so much we looked like we was both crying. sleep well big man, i will miss you

proper send off by all accounts R.I.P. Chas- always a laugh to be had wherever he went.
Shame there wasnt a wreath from the National Association Of Jobsworth Stewards on account of him dedicating alot of time making them sweat in defending his fellow west ham for allowing them enjoying themselves up and down the country;-)
these next few weeks were what him and Dennis and others dreamed of for decades

Really nice to hear, helps a lot to see family and friends at a funeral. I really appreciated it at my Mum 's funeral. Good, One Iron, thanks for letting us know it was a good turn out and went well.

Gutted I couldn’t be there today. Chas was larger than life, been on many of his great trips including china. He will be so badly missed by everyone that knew him but never forgotten. I am lucky to have known such a great guy. RIP big man.

I didnt know Chas well.Guess he drank East ham side of Upton park and I drank in Plaistow.but EVERYBODY says what a lovely fella he was and that he would do anything to help out a fellow West Ham fan.Old School West Ham ,RIP big man
